Authorities confirmed that one of the patients died in the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The name of the victim was not immediately released.<\/p>\n<p>DPS said Highway 81 north of Ringgold was closed in both directions as emergency personnel worked the scene, with traffic being diverted from the area.<\/p>\n<p>The accident remains under investigation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Have you lost a loved one in a truck accident in Ringgold?
