A passenger in the pickup truck, identified as Kirstin Gallemore, 29, was transported to University Medical Center by EMS with moderate injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Ferreyra was transported to Covenant Medical Center with serious injuries.<\/p>\n<pre>Original Story<\/pre>\n<p><strong>Lubbock, TX &#8211;<\/strong> One person was killed and two others were injured following an overnight two-vehicle traffic collision near an intersection in Lubbock.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/amp\/s\/www.everythinglubbock.com\/news\/local-news\/overnight-crash-on-south-loop-289-kills-one-person-and-injures-two\/amp\/\">deadly accident happened<\/a> at about 2 a.m. at 3600 South Loop 289 at Indiana Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Lubbock Police Department, officers responded to reports of a vehicle driving recklessly in the area of South Loop 289 at Indiana Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>Responding officers found two vehicles that had collided near the intersection.<\/p>\n<p>LPD said one person was killed in the collision.
