Holguin Duran, 59, was killed in a car accident on Sunday evening in Odessa.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dps.texas.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Texas Department of Public Safety,<\/a> the accident happened around 7:17 p.m. on Loop 338, near mile marker 254.<\/p>\n<p>Duran was driving a Dodge Ram 1500 eastbound on Loop 338 and was attempting to pass another vehicle when he collided head-on with an 18-wheeler driven by 31-year-old Ruthman J. Lozano Jaramillo, of Midland.<\/p>\n<p>Duran, a resident of Odessa, was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The semi-truck accident was unhurt.<\/p>\n<p>More details about the accident were not released.<\/p>\n<p>An investigation into the accident is ongoing.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Have you lost a loved one in a car accident?
